Publication date 1915. 122 pp. Interior has the odd finger smudge but is primarily clean and unmarked. Two of the 31 tipped-in plates are missing - p.42 (damage to the page from removal) and p.91. There is a 4cm clean vertical tear near the spine to the title page. Three quarter buckram over publishers grey boards. Boards are gently rubbed and bumped to extremities with a bit of soiling to show. Twenty five of the plates utilize the "new process of color photography" which is put to good use in the photo's related to Aboriginal artifacts such as a tobacco pouch and purse of Chief Joseph detailing the color schemes of the beading. As best as I can determine, 1915 is the first edition.
