SIGNED and dated to the ffep by Mr. Long. Appears unread, unclipped and not remaindered. Corners are sharp and square. Interior is crisp, clean and solid. Previous owners neat inscription to top of ffep. Bright, clean black-ink titles to spine and front board. Dustjacket is lightly bumped and rubbed to extremities, spine is moderately sunned with minor shelfwear to show. Now protected in brodart jacket. Acclaimed as one of the best histories of the "border country" around Montana, Saskatchewan and Alberta, near the end of the 19th century as the great western cattle ranches faded into history.
