Deep maroon three-quarter leather over brown boards. Five compartment spine with gilt rulings and devices to four, "Osborne's Railway Guide" in guilt to one compartment. Bottom compartment and extending a bit to the front & rear boards, are a bit rubbed where it appears some tape has been removed. (Not Ex-libris) Boards are slightly rubbed and soiled. Interior is clean excepting some foxing through out. Number 4377 neatly written to verso of front board and second free endpaper. Contains foldout schedules, passenger fares, etc. Forty-four pages of Notices to the rear followed by 13 pages of engraved advertising, some being fold-outs. Only date found is January, 1840 at the end of the preface. Solid tight copy.
