SIGNED on a tipped-in bookplate to the half-title page by Mr. Coonts. First edition with number line to one. Gently read. Corners are sharp and square. Bright silver titles to the spine. Ex-library copy with stamp to the top edge with glue and paper remnants to the interior of both boards where the dustjacket had been taped down. No other library markings evident. Clipped dustjacket is lightly bumped to extremities with minor shelfwear to show. Now protected in archival brodart jacket. First novel by the prolific and entertaining Mr. Coonts and the second to be published by the Naval Institute Press following "The Hunt for Red October".
