SIGNED, dated and inscribed, "To my Edmonton pilot friend _______, with best regards from the author, Frank H. Ellis, West Vancouver, British Columbia, March 19, 1966" to the title page. Gently read and not remaindered. Interior is clean and solid. Warm gift inscription to the dedication page. Without dustjacket (as issued?). Blue cloth boards are sunned to extremities as is the spine. Handful of what appears to be dirty fingerprints to the front and rear boards. A true aviation pioneer, Frank H. Ellis brought a wealth of personal experience to this narrative having built and flown his own aircraft before 1914 as a member of the "Early Birds". He was the first Canadian to parachute from an aeroplane in 1919. This large, heavy book may require additional shipping costs.
