24 absolutely beautiful colour plates and numerous B&W line drawings by Edwin Noble, illustrating these thrilling hunter stories from a by-gone era. Edition and year of publication unknown, most likely circa 1900's. Boards are rubbed and soiled, corners bumped & worn, previous owners name (twice) to front paste down & gift inscription to the ffep dated 1918. Minor soiling and finger smudges throughout. Spine has 11/2" tear at the head & 21/2" tear at the tail of the rear board resulting in the rear board being partially hinged and the spine somewhat loose.
