First published in 1990. SIGNED and warmly inscribed, “Best wishes and thank you for your interest in this book I published on early-day Waterton Lakes in the S.W. Alberta Rockies where my parents worked hard to establish their “dream” of a Mtn. Guiding business there and in its areas. My Dad – Bert’s fine photography made this book I compiled possible !! – Doris Riggall Burton” to the half title page. Very gently read. Interior is clean and unmarked. Laminate wraps (soft cover) are gently rubbed to extremities with a tiny bit of “corner curl”. Handful of faint “scribbly” indents to the rear wrap. Written by the daughter of famed outfitter and photographer Bert Riggall, she tells of his adventures and shares his stories of life in the wild Canadian Rockies in the early 1900 hundreds. Scarce signed. Judging by the handwriting this copy was signed much later in her life.
