True first edition published between 1924 -1925. Twelve stapled pamphlets complete with tray and slipcase. All twelve pamphlets appear unread or very gently read, with the occasional spot of foxing or a finger smudge. Some minor rusting to the staples. White card covers are generally quite clean with some light soiling and foxing to show. All are tight and square with no “corner curl”. Closed 3.5cm tear to the top edge of the front wrap of XII, 2cm tear to the top edge of the front wrap of VIII, two light horizontal & one vertical crease throughout to V.
Pamphlet tray has been neatly repaired. Fairly significant sunning to both tray boards with some chipping to the fore-edges and spine. Green paper “Outline of the Course” glued to the interior of the front board & advert to the interior of the rear board are complete with sunning to show. “About John B. Watson and Behaviorism” glued to the exterior of the rear board is complete with some chipping to the spine and top edges, well sunned to extremities but completely legible. Titles and devices to the spine are absent. The slipcase has been repaired to all the edges with some shelfwear and minor rubbing to show. Paper “Behaviorism” blurb glued to the front is complete with some sunning and soiling to show. Watson was an early pioneer in the field of psychology and advanced many new principles in the field.
