First edition. Very gently read. Interior is clean and unmarked, without inscriptions. Light green cloth boards are a bit soiled, lightly bumped to extremities, gilt titles to spine. Beautiful blind-stamped illustration (of a wolf howling at the moon) with gilt titles to the front board. Bit of a paper "pull" to the gutter of the front board. Wonderfully illustrated through out with over 150 illustrations by Ernst Thompson-Seton, G. Wright, E. M. Ashe with marginal drawings by S. N. Abbott. Biography of a city woman going out west with her husband to "go hunting" at the turn of the century.
